Visiting the Historic District

Visitors to the historic district are encouraged bike, walk or take the Metrorail Yellow or Blue lines to the King Street Station and take the free King Street Trolley, or DASH or Metro buses to the festival.

  • Parking in Old Town is available in convenient parking garages or lots.

Bicyclists may view the City's Bikeways Network, which features the City's best on-street and off-road bikeways, as well as locations of grouped bicycle parking.

How to Perform

The Special Events staff looks for interested and talented individuals and/or groups to perform at the outdoor concerts and special events offered during the year. Scheduling for these programs begins in January. Please let us showcase your talent by sending an email to arts@alexandriava.gov.
