Most public street lights in the City of Alexandria are maintained by Dominion Energy.

The City of Alexandria operates a Stormwater Utility, which collects a Stormwater Utility Fee to fund community stormwater management programs.  The Fee is charged as a separate line item on the real estate tax bills sent to all residential and non-residential property owners.
