Basketball Courts
The City of Alexandria manages the following basketball courts for community use. Unless otherwise posted, ball courts are open from sunrise to sunset.
- Angel Park at 201 West Taylor Run Parkway
- Armistead L. Boothe Park at 520 Cameron Station Boulevard (lighted)
- Buchanan Park at 1501 Cameron Street
- Chinquapin Park at 3210 King Street
- Eugene Simpson Stadium Park (426 E. Monroe Avenue) (lighted)
- Ewald Park at 4452 Duke Street (lighted)
- Four Mile Run Park at 3700 Commonwealth Avenue (multi-purpose with half courts and futsal)
- Helen Miller/Bernard Hunter Park at 224 North Fayette Street (lighted)
- Hooff’s Run Park and Greenway at 18A East Linden Street (half court)
- Lee Center at 1108 Jefferson Street (lighted)
- Potomac Yard Park at 2501 Potomac Avenue (lighted) (two courts)
- Powhatan Park at 1010 Douglas Street
- Stevenson Park at 300 Stultz Road
- Windmill Hill Park at 501 South Union Street
Tennis Courts
The City of Alexandria manages the following tennis courts for community use. Unless otherwise posted, ball courts are open from sunrise to sunset.
TENNIS ONLY COURTS
- Carlyle Tennis Courts (450 Andrews Lane) (two courts)
- Fort Ward Athletic Facility (4421 West Braddock Road) (two courts)
- Hooff’s Run Park and Greenway (18A East Linden Street)
- Montgomery Park (901 North Royal Street) (four lighted courts)
- Potomac Yard Park (2501 Potomac Avenue) (two lighted courts) - Crack repair and re-color coat anticipated late spring 2024.
MULTI-USE COURTS
- Armistead L. Boothe Park (520 Cameron Station Boulevard) (two lighted courts, multi-use with tennis and pickleball)
- Chambliss Park (2502 North Chambliss Street) (two courts, multi-use with tennis and pickleball)
- Chinquapin Park (3210 King Street) (four courts and two practice courts, lighted, multi-use with tennis and pickleball)
- Eugene Simpson Stadium Park (426 E. Monroe Avenue) (two courts, multi-use with tennis and pickleball)
- Lee Center (1108 Jefferson Street) (two lighted courts, multi-use with tennis and pickleball)
- Full court renovation start and completion anticipated late spring 2024.
- Mount Vernon (2600 Mount Vernon Avenue) (one court, multi-purpose with tennis and pickleball)
- Powhatan Park (1010 Douglas Street) (multi-use with tennis and futsal)
- William Ramsay Recreation Center (5700 Sanger Avenue) (two lighted courts, multi-use with tennis and pickleball)
Futsal Courts
The City of Alexandria manages the following multi-use futsal courts for community use. Unless otherwise posted, ball courts are open from sunrise to sunset.
- Cameron Run Regional Park at 4001 Eisenhower Ave. (multi-use with tennis and pickleball) (one court each overlay)
Note: Interim portable court during the aquatic offseason from approximately October through April - Four Mile Run Park at 3700 Commonwealth Avenue (multi-purpose with futsal and half court basketball)
