Aging & Adult Services offers supportive home and community services to eligible adults. Speak with a Certified Information and Referral Specialist Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m.- 4:30 p.m. Please leave a message or send an email. Please DO NOT EMAIL ADULT PROTECTIVE SERVICES REPORTS. We also serve as the Area Agency on Aging and provide support for the Alexandria Commission on Aging.

Commission on Aging
The Commission on Aging (COA) serves as the principal advocate for issues relating to aging and promotes the implementation of the Older Americans Act and other age-pertinent laws and policies in Alexandria and the Commonwealth of Virginia. The Commission advances programs and services that address the needs of older Alexandrians, especially for (but not exclusively) low-income residents.
