City of Alexandria government offices and facilities are closed Tuesday, Feb. 9.  Emergency services personnel should report as scheduled.  Trash and recycling collection scheduled for Feb. 9 will not be collected until Feb. 16. DASH will be operating a Saturday schedule beginning at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 9th, with some route modifications.  See the DASH Web site for details.

Concerts

Concerts are coordinated by the City's Department of Recreation, Parks, and Cultural Activities Special Events Office. Concerts are cancelled in the event of inclement weather and subject to change without notice. Unless otherwise specified, all concerts are free. Visitors to the historic district are encouraged to take Metro rail Yellow or Blue lines to the King Street Station in Old Town and take the King Street Trolley; take DASH or Metro buses; or park in one of the convenient parking garages or lots. Enjoy the music of the season in Alexandria as a break between shopping, on your way to dinner, or just to get in the spirit of the holidays. Local performers volunteer their talent to entertain during this festive time. Schedule is subject to change, and concerts are cancelled in the event of inclement weather.
