COVID-19 Eviction and Foreclosure Prevention Assistance
- As of May 15, 2022, new Rent Relief Program (RRP) applications are no longer being accepted by the Commonwealth of Virginia. For eviction prevention programs and services provided by the City and its partners, please visit Eviction Prevention Resources.

NEW! After reopening between March 4 and May 3, 2024, the Virginia Mortgage Relief Program has stopped accepting new applications and will be closing the program. Eligible applications received prior to May 3, 2024, 11:59 p.m. will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis with applicants at risk of foreclosure taking priority.
