City of Alexandria to Host Spring Invitational Cheerleading Competition on Saturday, April 28

The public is invited to attend the Alexandria Spring Invitational Cheerleading Competition, scheduled for 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 28 at T.C. Williams High School, 3330 King Street. The competition features preteen and teen cheerleading teams from neighborhood recreation centers and other teams from the metropolitan area.

Tickets are available for purchase in advance and at the door the day of the event. Tickets will be on sale from April 2 – 26, at the Charles Houston, Cora Kelly, Patrick Henry and William Ramsay recreation centers and at the Recreation Services Division Office, located at 1108 Jefferson Street.  Tickets can be purchased in advance for $5 for ages 13 and older, $2 for ages 6-12 and ages 5 and under are admitted free. Ticket prices at the door will be $6 for ages 13 and older, $3 for ages 6 – 12, for ages five, and under are admitted free.
