Information on the Alexandria Food Safety Advisory Council.
The Alexandria Food Safety Advisory Council is a group of volunteers that strive to advance food safety and to improve communications between the Health Department, the restaurant industry, and consumers in the City of Alexandria.
The council's current members include local restaurant owners and operators, public health professionals, national / regional quality assurance officers (from locally operating restaurant chains), and several individuals from a myriad of other food safety and restauant interest groups.

All Alexandria Food Safety Advisory Council meetings usually take place on Mondays at the Alexandria HealthDepartment Building (4480 King Street) between 2:15 PM—3:45 PM.
