Small Area Plans (Neighborhood Plans) In ProcessThe City's Master Plan is made up of 18 Small Area Plans covering neighborhoods throughout the City, plus other City-wide relevant chapters. Periodically the City will amend existing plans or create new plans through a public process. There are no Small Area Plans currently under review. See the Plans and Programs in Implementation section below for recently approved Small Area Plans.
Development ProjectsDevelopment projects are carefully reviewed by City staff, the Planning Commission and the City Council to ensure compatability with the City's Master Plan, the Zoning Ordinance and other design and technical guidelines. Staff of the Development Division serve as project managers and coordinate with other City staff throughout the development review process.
