Administrative Services Bureau
Undersheriff Tony Davis commands the Administrative Services Bureau, which is comprised of the Administrative Services Division. The Administrative Services Division is the supportive arm of the Alexandria Sheriff’s Office, accomplishing a myriad of functions that support and provide an infrastructure for Sheriff’s Office operations.
|Captain Dottie Pope commands the Administrative Services Division. Apart from the internal affairs function, which is executed by the Adminsitrative Services Bureau Commander and the Captain of Administrative Services, the work of the Administrative Services Division is accomplished by its two sections, the Administrative Support and Technical Services, and the Chief Financial Officer.|
Commander Mondre' Kornegay commands the Technical Services Section, which manages the Office’s fleet, uniforms and equipment, and is responsible for information and technology operations. The section also coordinates the Office's public information/community affairs functions, and manages the agency’s written directives and participation in law enforcement and corrections accreditation programs.
Chief Financial Officer Cindy Catlett oversees the Office's financial matters, including development and management of the annual budget. The CFO and her staff also manage inmate accounts, federal and state reimbursement, and other fiscal responsibilities.
Commander Michele McCarty oversees the Administrative Support Section which handles the human resources functions such as recruitment, hiring, training and staff retention. The Section also provides administrative/clerical support to the Sheriff and Sheriff’s Office staff.
Maintaining Our Integrity
Administrative Services is also responsible for conducting all investigations of alleged staff misconduct. The internal affairs function helps uphold the Office's high standards of integrity and dedication to duty, and involes the swift and effective investigation of all citizen complaints and allegations of improper action. This important task is accomplished by our Internal Investigations Deputy, who reports directly to the Chief of Administrative Services.
