Holmes Run Park Committee to Host Discussion on “International Year of the Forest”

The public is invited to attend the Holmes Run Park Committee’s June meeting to discuss the “International Year of the Forest” on Thursday, June 2 from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Beatley Library, 5005 Duke St.

John Noelle, City Arborist, will discuss the condition of and plans for the City’s Bicentennial Oak; results of the 2010 Tree Canopy Analysis; and the 2012 Urban Forestry Program.
