• Affordable Housing Unit Mix Calculator
  This is a link to an interactive Excel worksheet that permits the user to establish a total budget for affordable housing and allocate this amount among income levels and unit sizes within this budget. This calculator permits the user to see what the effect of allocating more units to lower-income households or larger families is on the total number of affordable units that can be provided within the selected budget amount.

The calculator is specifically tailored to current incomes, construction costs and other factors unique to the Beauregard planning area and should not be considered a general-purpose model illustrating these choices for another situation. The total affordable housing budget of approximately $80,000,000 for the entire planning area for the full development period has been used by staff as an order-of-magnitude approximation of what might be available for this purpose under the current draft plan development assumptions.
