The Alexandria City Academy

The 10th session of the Alexandria City Academy (formerly the Alexandria Citizens Academy) began on Thursday, March 7 and will run for eight weeks, ending on Thursday, April 25. A graduation ceremony will be held at a later date. The Academy is designed to develop civic leadership and build a stronger city through well-informed and engaged residents and business owners. This program will also prepare individuals for public service on a board, commission, or task force or other involvement in the City’s governance.

Each session will begin at 7 p.m. and end at 9 p.m.; refreshments will be provided beginning at 6:30 p.m.
