Michael Gilmore, Ph.D.
Mike Gilmore is the Director of the Department of Community and Human Services and the Executive Director of the Alexandria Community Services Board. Under the guidance of the Board and the Assistant City Manager, Dr. Gilmore directs the Center for Administration, the Office for Strategic Initiatives and Communications, and services in the Centers for Adult Services, Child and Family Services, and Economic Supports. These programs employ more than 600 staff with a budget of $90 million. Dr. Gilmore has been with the City of Alexandria since 2003. His commitment to community and human services led to his recent involvement in many State and City initiatives including service on the State Executive Council, the System Leadership Council, the Center for Alexandria's Children Board of Directors, the Alexandria Council of Human Service Organizations Executive Committee, and the Partnership for a Healthier Alexandria Steering Committee. Suzanne T. Chis
Suzanne Chis is the Deputy Director for the Department of Community and Human Services and the Director of Social Services. In this role, Ms. Chis has oversight and responsibility across the Department for all social service programs, and provides direct supervision for the Center for Adult Services, the Center for Economic Support and the Center for Children and Families. Lisa Baker
Lisa Baker, Chief Staff Officer for the Department of Community and Human Services, is Head of the Office of Strategic Initiatives and Communications. Lisa oversees Human Resources & Training, Communications, Special Events & Project Management, Community Partnerships & Granting and Women's Initiatives & Diversity Initiatives. Deborah Warren, LCSW, DCSW
Deborah Warren is the Deputy Director of the Center for Children and Families in the Department of Community and Human Services. In this capacity, Ms. Warren has oversight of service delivery in the divisions of Early Childhood, Youth Development, Child Behavioral Health, Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault, Child Welfare, and the Comprehensive Services Act.
