Holmes Run Park Committee Presents “West End Talks” on Thursday, November 3

Who Do You Think You Are? Based on the 2010 Census, Mr. Pat Mann, Urban Planner with the City of Alexandria Department of Planning and Zoning, will present demographic information about who we are, who are the citizens that make up Zip Code 22304? The 2000 Census declared Zip Code 22304 the most diverse zip code in the entire country! Are we still that diverse? In 2001, Hammond Middle School students spoke 66 languages at home. Who are we today and what does the 2010 Census tell us? Come hear who we are, and how the West End might be the most mosaic corner of Alexandria.

West End Talks will be held at the Beatley Central Library Community Room, 5005 Duke St. from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. For further information, email ewright953@yahoo.com.
