Alexandria Mentoring Partnership Hosts Information and Training Event

The Alexandria Mentoring Partnership (AMP) is hosting a Mentoring Information event on Wednesday, February 6, at the Nannie J. Lee Center (1108 Jefferson St.) from 6 to 8 p.m. The event provides an opportunity for potential and current mentors to meet, network, and learn about mentoring and mentoring programs in Alexandria.

The evening will feature two concurrent sessions:

• Interested in becoming a mentor? Join the Mentoring Information Session and hear from current mentors about how becoming a mentor can have a lasting effect on someone’s life. Light refreshments will be served.
• Already a mentor? Sharpen your skills by attending a session on how to deal with difficult situations.
