Dinner and Mentoring Information Session Rescheduled for Tuesday, February 10

In celebration of National Mentoring Month, the Alexandria Mentoring Partnership will be hosting a free Dinner and Mentoring Information Session on Tuesday, February 10 from 6 to 8 p.m. in the cafeteria at T.C. Williams High School, 3330 King St. Originally scheduled for January 27, the event will be an opportunity for the public to come and learn more about mentoring opportunities in Alexandria. Ten professionally managed mentoring organizations that are serving Alexandria youth will be brought together to help attendees learn how they can make a difference in their community.

To RSVP, or to learn more about mentoring opportunities in Alexandria, e-mail mentoring@alexandriava.gov or call Mike Mackey, Coordinator of the Alexandria Mentoring Partnership, at 703.838.4180, ext. 242. Even if you sent an RSVP for the original January 27 date, please send another if you are planning on attending February 10.

The Alexandria Mentoring Partnership is a collaborative of public and private non-profit mentoring organizations whose mission is to offer our City's youth the support they need to thrive. Our collaboration will work to maximize mentor recruitment, screening and training, and to ensure the establishment of quality mentoring programs that reach all of Alexandria's youth in need.
