The City is also seeking members who are diverse in age, race, and ethnic background. City Manager James K. Hartmann will appoint the 15 members from among the nominations to formally establish the Advisory Group.

The Advisory Group will work directly with City staff to learn about the property at Potomac Yard, explore alternatives for redevelopment, and serve in an advisory role for staff and the Planning Commission. The group is responsible for finding a balance among key issues and ideas that will be considered. All Advisory Group meetings will be open to the public, and comments and input are welcome.
