Program Implementation Division

The Program Implementation Division administers the following activities:

• Home Rehabilitation Loan Program: No-interest, deferred-payment loans for the rehabilitation of owner-occupied homes, including condominiums;
• Grants for retrofitting of rental units for persons with disabilities;
• Marketing of new construction homeownership units available through the Affordable Set-aside Homeownership Units program;
• Construction management for affordable housing projects with partner organizations both new construction and rehabilitation;
• Neighborhood Stabilization: In July 2009, Alexandria partnered with a consortium of local member jurisdictions to apply for funding through the second and competitive round of the Neighborhood Stabilization Program (NSP2)
