This fine porcelain plate showcases Alexandria’s past with depictions of 17 historic sites and elements, following the seaport city’s history from Colonial times to the Civil War to the Civil Rights era. Measuring 8 inches in diameter and highlighted by two rings of gold trim, this collectible plate comes in a gift box with a card describing each illustration, including historic Gadsby’s Tavern, Christ Church, Fort Ward Gate, Carlyle House, The Lyceum, Market Square and a dozen more. The Historic Alexandria Plate, commissioned by the Office of Historic Alexandria, was designed in the Shenandoah Valley by LDA Creations, Inc.
