Alexandria Police Arrest Suspect in Abduction and Sexual Battery

 

Alexandria police have arrested a man for the abduction and sexual battery of a woman in the West End of Alexandria. Noe Salomon Viera-Lazo, a 26 year-old Arlington man, is charged with Attempted Rape, Abduction and Sexual Battery.

 

On February 23, at approximately 12:10 A.M., Viera-Lazo attacked his victim at the intersection of King Street and South 28th Street. He approached the victim, a 36 year-old Arlington woman, from behind and attempted to pull her into a nearby park. The victim struggled and Viera-Lazo fled the scene.
