Adult Protective Services

Adult Protective Services provides intervention for persons over the age of 18 who are at risk of:

• Abuse
• Neglect
• Exploitation

If you suspect that an adult is being abused, exploited, or no longer appears to be able to take care of him/herself, call 1.800.552.7096 or 703.746.5778.  A social worker will respond to your call during regular business hours (Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.).

• There is no charge for this service;
• You may remain anonymous, if you choose;
•  If you believe the situation is an emergency, call 911
