Effective April 1, the City of Alexandria Vehicle Impound Lot located at 5249 Eisenhower Avenue will be open to the public for vehicle retrieval Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. This temporary adjustment is part of a 90-day pilot program that the Department of Transportation and Environmental Services is conducting to evaluate the effectiveness of modified hours while maintaining efficient operations. During the pilot program, impound lot staff will be available to assist with vehicle retrieval during the designated operating hours.

Staff will closely monitor the pilot program and following the 90-day period, will conduct a comprehensive evaluation to determine the program's effectiveness and potential for long-term implementation.
