Ad Hoc Stormwater Utility and Flood Mitigation Advisory Group to Receive Updates on Stormwater Projects
The Ad Hoc Stormwater Utility and Flood Mitigation Advisory Group will meet in December to receive updates on stormwater projects, including the large capacity project planned for Commonwealth Avenue, Ashby Street and Glebe Road.
The meeting is open to the public. It will be held at City Hall, 301 King Street, in the City Council workroom on December 15 at 6 p.m. and a hybrid option is available via a Zoom link. Meeting materials are available on the Ad Hoc group’s website.
Background: The Ad Hoc Stormwater Utility and Flood Mitigation Advisory Group was established by City Council on January 26, 2021. The group serves as the liaison between City staff and the community. The group reviews relevant program documents and products developed by staff, reviews recommendations for program funding and monitors disseminating relevant state legislation, among other duties.
