City of Alexandria Winter Recreation Program Registration Begins Wednesday, December 14
For Immediate Release: November 30, 2022
Registration for winter classes and activities offered by the City of Alexandria’s Department of Recreation, Parks and Cultural Activities (RPCA) will begin at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, December 14, for City residents and Friday, December 16, for nonresidents. Winter registration applies to classes, camps, leagues, and activities occurring January through April 2023. Registration will be available online and in-person at the Lee Center Registration & Reservation Office (1108 Jefferson St.). For a complete list of options, the Winter 2023 Program Guide is available online and printed copies are available at all Alexandria libraries and recreation, nature and arts centers.
In addition to a variety of new programs and returning favorites, there are many ways to have fun this winter. Plan ahead by registering for one of our many Winter Break camps or Spring Break camps. When schools are out, camps are in!
RPCA is hiring year-round staff. Do you know someone with a passion for working with children? How about a personable professional who delivers exceptional customer service? Have you come across a leader who has the drive to share their interests and talents with others? If so, encourage them to visit alexandriava.gov/rpca/jobs to view and apply for current job openings.
