Potomac Yard Entertainment District Community Conversation Focused on Transportation Scheduled for February 22
The City of Alexandria will hold the first event in its virtual Community Conversation series on the proposed Potomac Yard Entertainment District (PYED) on Thursday, February 22, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. City and State subject matter experts will discuss the transportation process for this proposal and potential improvements should the project move forward.
Registered audience participants will have the opportunity to ask transportation questions of the panel. Register online to join.
How It Will Work
-
Individuals will submit their summarized question into the Zoom Q&A chat to “get in line.” Transportation questions will be given priority.
-
Staff will coordinate with the audience member directly through the chat to ensure they are informed of their turn to ask a question.
-
Staff will unmute the audience member’s microphone and each individual will be given 30 seconds to ask their question. The time limit is in place to accommodate as many questions as possible.
The City has previously held listening sessions focused on transportation to and from PYED and other topics. Recordings are available.
Additional details about the PYED and community engagement events can be found at MonumentalALX.
