Join the City of Alexandria in Welcoming Virginia’s Newest Citizens
The City of Alexandria invites the public to attend its annual Citizenship Day ceremony at City Hall Market Square on Tuesday, September 12. The event will welcome 25 new U.S. citizens from 25 different countries as they take the Oath of Allegiance to become official Americans.
Citizenship Day is an opportunity to celebrate the wealth of cultures and diverse perspectives immigrants contribute to our nation. Since 2003, more than 500 new Americans have taken the Oath of Allegiance during these naturalization ceremonies.
