City of Alexandria Urges Everyone to “Spring2ACTion” on April 27
For Immediate Release: April 19, 2022
This year’s annual “Spring2ACTion” day of giving event will be held on Wednesday, April 27. The annual, online event, hosted by ACT for Alexandria and co-sponsored by the City of Alexandria, was launched 12 years ago to connect donors with more than 137 local nonprofits and charitable causes and encourage them to take action. Spring2ACTion is a time to support the organizations that serve the Alexandria community in the best of times—and in challenging times—to help meet the critical needs of those who are most vulnerable.
Donations made through Spring2ACTion’s day of giving event can help participating Alexandria nonprofits provide services such as food, shelter, animal rescue, tutoring, support for the arts and more.
Help make Alexandria a strong and vibrant community for all by donating on the communitywide day of giving on April 27 or participate in early giving, which started on April 13.
