This evening, Alexandria Police officers responded to the 5400 block of Duke Street to investigate a fatal collision involving a motorcyclist and a bus. The motorcyclist was pronounced dead on scene. Currently, Duke Street is closed from Paxton to South Walker Street, in both directions. The APD Crash Reconstruction team is currently conducting an investigation and the streets will be closed for several hours.
