Alexandria Police Department Makes Arrest in Connection to Stabbing Incident

(*Update: June 1, 2022*):: The Alexandria Police Department has made an arrest in connection to a stabbing incident, that occurred on May 24, 2022.
A 16-year-old juvenile male, a City of Alexandria resident, was arrested and charged with murder. The juvenile is currently being held in the Northern Virginia Juvenile Detention Center.
The decedent Luis Hernandez, 18, was a City of Alexandria resident.
The investigation is still ongoing.

ALEXANDRIA, VA. – The Alexandria Police Department is investigating a stabbing incident that occurred on Tuesday, May 24, 2022, that left one dead.
The initial call for service was received at approximately 12:26 p.m. for a large group fight in the 3600 block of King Street. During the fight, one male was critically injured and transported to the hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
