Application Deadline March 16; Prospective Grantee Workshop to be Held February 20

Applications are now being accepted for the Alexandria Marketing Fund, a program administered by the Alexandria Marketing Committee.

The program, reinvigorated in October 2007 by the Alexandria City Council, is designed to encourage public-private partnerships that promote the City as a destination for visiting, shopping, dining and doing business. An informal workshop for prospective grantees will be held Friday, February 20, from 8 to 11:00 a.m. at City Hall, 301 King St., in Sister Cities Room 1101. The workshop will provide an opportunity for prospective grantees to network, discuss their ideas and strategies, and to meet with members of the Marketing Fund Committee and the Marketing Fund Coordinating Council.
