City of Alexandria Hosts Fifth Annual Comcast Outdoor Film Festival
on July 18 - 19 at Ben Brenman Park
Outside Summer Cinema Returns to Alexandria
The City of Alexandria will host the Fifth Annual Comcast Outdoor Film Festival on Friday, July 18 and Saturday, July 19 at Ben Brenman Park, 4800 Brenman Park Dr. On July 18, Bee Movie will be the feature, and on July 19, Transformers will be shown. Both movies begin at approximately 8:30 p.m. Admission is free. Proceeds from the Comcast Outdoor Film Festival will benefit the Hopkins House. Hopkins House is a local charity providing education programs and services to children, youths, and their families.
Popcorn, homemade lemonade, and other food items will be available for sale beginning at 7 p.m. Participants may bring blankets or lawn chairs to sit on, and coolers and outside food items are welcome. In the event of rain, the evening’s film will be cancelled. For cancellation information, call the Special Events Hotline at 703.883.4686.
