Alexandria Police are investigating an attempted abduction and assault that occurred in the 2200 block of Mill Road.  Around 5:30 P.M. on Tuesday, April 10, two females were grabbed by a man and pulled into a vacant building.  The two victims were physically assaulted but were able to fight back and escape out of the building.

Police were called and officers on the Special Operations Team and the K-9 unit searched the building with negative results.

The two victims were taken to a nearby hospital and treated for non-life threatening injuries.

The suspect is described as white, 20 to 30 years old, with a tall and thin build.  He had dark colored hair pulled back into a ponytail.  He was wearing a long black coat with black pants.
