Alexandria Police Charge Man Involved In Fatal Pedestrian Crash

Alexandria Police have charged Victor M. Aldana, 22, of 4945 Manitoba Drive, #102, located in the Alexandria part of Fairfax County, with DUI Manslaughter, DUI Maiming, Reckless Driving and No Operators License following an investigation into the fatal pedestrian crash that occurred yesterday afternoon.  He is being held at the Alexandria Adult Detention Center without bond.

The victim has been identified as Brian Hernandez-Chavez, 8, of the Lincolnia area.

This is the first fatal pedestrian crash of 2012 in Alexandria
