APD Team Places 6th In 2012 Dulles Day Plane Pull Benefiting Special Olympics Virginia

The Alexandria Police Department put together a team of 25 volunteers who raised $1,250 to compete in this years Dulles Day Plane Pull benefiting Special Olympics Virginia.  The APD team pulled the FedEx 757 the required 12 feet in a time of 6.051 seconds, which was good enough for 6th place overall out of over 70 teams.  This year marked the 20th Anniversary of the Dulles Day Festival & Plane Pull®, and raised over $160,000 for Special Olympics Virginia.
