OPERATIONS SUPPORT BUREAU

The mission of the Operations Support Bureau is to provide prompt support to the other three Bureaus of the Police Department, mostly during field operations. Protecting life and property and focusing on the quality of life of our City is at the core of our mission.  The Operations Support Bureau supports each of the three Bureaus through effective deployment of specially trained units such as canine, motors, school resource officers, parking enforcement, school crossing guards, Special Operations Team (SWAT), hostage negotiators, a crash reconstruction team and hack inspection.  The Bureau has overall responsibility for the Police Department’s Incident Command System (ICS) and is fully National Incident Management System (NIMS) compliant. 

The Operations Support Bureau is commanded by Deputy Chief Blaine Corle.
