The City of Alexandria reminds taxpayers that 2009 Business Personal Property Tax returns are due May 1 from all businesses that were operating in the City as of January 1, 2009. Any business or person conducting business in the City not filing a return may be statutorily assessed and billed based on the best available information.

If you did not receive a business personal property tax return, you may download a form at alexandriava.gov/businesstax or call 703.838.3869 or 703.838.4680. Businesses that have had a change of address and have not previously reported this change to the City should contact the Business Tax Branch at businesstax@alexandriava.gov or 703.838.4680.
