Do You Have an Alarm?
Alexandria residents and business owners who have a building, commercial or residential alarm can register the alarm at the City's Alarm Prevention and Administration site, "The Cry Wolf Program": www.crywolf.us/oss/alexandriava. Law Enforcement personnel respond to thousands of false alarm calls yearly. These unnecessary responses result in an enormous burden in manpower and expense; which in turn reduces the time available to respond to real emergencies.Cry Wolf helps the Police Department manage, and even reduce, false alarms.
