Project Management Division is responsible for planning, management and assessment of enterprise IT projects, complex purchase management, budgeting, and financial management.

Enterprise Resource Planning Systems Implementation
The City has procured and is implementing Tyler Technologies’ Munis enterprise software suite for financials and human resources/payroll. Phase One of the implementation is now live, and consists of the General Ledger, Budget, Accounts Payable and Purchasing modules. The Human Resources and Payroll modules (Phase Two) will be live in January 2014. Phase Three modules includes Contract Management, Fixed Assets, Project and Grant Accounting, Employee Self-Service, and Vendor Self-Service, and are scheduled to be operational in summer 2014. Phase Four includes Performance Based Budgeting and implementation of the GASB 32 Report Writer, and should be operational by early next year.

Computer Aided Dispatch/Records Management Systems Upgrade/Replacement
The City is currently implementing new and upgraded public safety systems, including: Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD); Mobile Computing; Police Records Management; Automated Field Reporting; Fire Records Management; and Electronic Patient Care Reporting. These systems comprise the bulk of the public safety systems infrastructure, and when implemented, will provide the greatest measure of reliability and assured response to the region while serving the public 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The majority of the components will be operational by October 2014.
