The Inmate Work DetailFacility Services staff supervise the Inmate Work Detail, composed of carefully screened inmates who, under direct Deputy Sheriff supervision, complete public works projects that have included the beautification of Old Town, refuse collection at City roadways and highway interchanges, and school and playground clean up and repair. In FY 2012, the Work Detail performed 5,475 hours of service and saved the City approximately $150,000 in labor costs.
