BRAC: Mark Center Transportation Center Public Art Project

Heidi Lippman was selected for the public art project at the Mark Center Transportation Center.  Heidi may be best known for her beautiful artwork at BWI Thurgood Marshall International Airport.  The project is managed by the United States Army Corps of Engineers, in partnership with the City of Alexandria, Washington Headquarters Service, Duke Realty, and Wisnewski Blair & Associates. Heidi's proposals and a recent image of the artwork in progress may be viewed below.  The artwork is anticipated to be installed in summer of 2012.
