Neighborhood "Mini" Pools
Each Neighborhood pool has a shallow water depth of 3-5 feet. The Neighborhood Pools are small pools, able to accommodate a maximum of 45 guests at any given time. Due to limited size, the Neighborhood Pools are restricted to Alexandria residents 13 years of age and younger. Parents are welcome to accompany their children. Admission is free.

Large Pools
Old Town and Warwick Pools open weekends and holidays only starting Memorial Day weekend. City pools are now closed for the season.
Old Town Pool

Operating Hours: Monday through Sunday: noon - 7 pm
This complex includes a 25-yard pool with a diving well. A separate training pool is available for children up to 42 inches in height. Easily accessible for disabled, the training pool has a water depth range of 1-3 feet. For added convenience, a parking lot, picnic area and a tot playground are adjacent to the pool.
Warwick Pool

Operating Hours: Monday through Friday: noon - 7 pm; Saturday and Sunday: 11 am - 6 pm
The site includes a 25-yard pool with diving well and a separate wading pool for children up to 42 inches in height. A bathhouse is available. Picnic areas are located inside the pool complex as well as next-door, where a modern playground featuring a tot playground is also available. The complex provides natural privacy as beautiful trees and shrubberies surround it.

Annual Doggie Day Swim
Old Town Pool
1609 Cameron Street
Tuesday following Labor Day from 4 - 7 pm
A celebration of the end of the pool season for dogs and their owners. Old Town Pool will remain open for dogs only to swim and play. There is a nominal fee for dog admission. Proceeds benefit the Alexandria Welfare League. Note: Bring your own doggie dish for water. Dog handlers must be 16 or older. All dogs should wear current vaccination tags or proof of vaccinations must be shown. For additional information call 703.746.5553.

Instructional Opportunities
Opportunities are available to qualified instructors of health, fitness, aquatic exercise, dance, land exercise, sports, camps, arts, music, dance, martial arts, Yoga, and other life-long learning and educational classes and programs for all ages. Classes are offered seasonally, Fall, Winter, Spring and Summer with dates coordinated with the City of Alexandria Department of Recreation, Parks & Cultural Activities “Program Guide”.
