General Information

This page will be used to communicate the City of Alexandria Department of Recreation, Parks and Cultural Activities efforts of improving the City's athletic fields with the residents of the City. Please check back as we continue to update this page with more information.

Future Meetings

September 17, 2009 - 7:30pm - Lee Center- 1008 Jefferson Street. Staff will present study findings and recommendations to the Park and Recreation Commission on fields suitable for conversion to synthetic turf.
October 15, 2009 - Park and Recreation Commission public hearing on on the next synthetic turf field conversion.
