How to Register
  • In order to accommodate all participants, we have four different ways to register for Recreation Classes, Camps and Activities:
  • To register Online or by Telephone, applicants must have a Household ID (user name) and password. For additional information call the Class and Camp office at 703.746.5414. To apply for Household ID (user name) online, click here and then click the "Want to Add a New Household? link on the online registration web page.
  • Registration for all Fall 2009 classes and activities opened Monday, August 17 for City residents, and Monday, August 24 for nonresidents. For Drop-Off and Mail-In registration, complete all information on the registration form, including signature. Make checks payable to The City of Alexandria.
  • Payments are deposited upon receipt. Confirmation of registration is mailed within five business days. If a class is full, a wait list is generated and individuals on the wait list will be contacted if a space becomes available. If you do not receive a confirmation by mail, please call the Program Office to confirm status of registration at 703.746.5414.
  • Due to the volume of class registrations, we regret that drop-off registrations are not processed immediately. Staff reserves the right to cancel a class that does not meet minimum registration numbers.
  • Additional information and links follow below. If you still have questions please contact the Program Office at 703.746.5414 (TTY 703.838.4902), Monday through Friday, 9 am to 5 pm.
