Alexandria Police Department's Most Wanted

The Alexandria Police Department is seeking information regarding the whereabouts of Yong Am Kim, a 49-year-old Asian male. Mr. Kim is wanted for the 1988 murder of Woon Gee Yeo.

On December 11, 1988 Woon Gee Yeo was murdered in the 5600 block of Derby Court. Police believe the suspect, Yong Am Kim, fled back to Korea shortly after the murder. Anyone with information about the whereabouts of Mr. Kim are encouraged to call the Alexandria Police Department at 703-838-4711.

The Alexandria Police Department is seeking information regarding the whereabouts of Jorge Luis Garcia, a 43-year-old former resident of Washington, DC. Mr. Garcia is wanted for the 1991 murder of Neptali Velasquez. Mr. Garcia was arrested on November 16, 1991 for this offense, but was granted bond on November 18, 1991. He failed to appear for any further court proceedings. 

Mr. Garcia is originally from El Salvadore and may have fled back to La Union, El Salvadore. He is described as a white Hispanic male, 5'4, 140 pounds, brown hair and brown eyes. The Alexandria Police Department is seeking information regarding the whereabouts of  Larry Torres, a 24-year-old former Alexandria resident. Mr. Torres is wanted for Malicious Wounding and Failure to Appear. Mr. Torres is charged with shooting a man in the 300 block of North Ripley Street on July 9, 2005. It is believed that he may have fled to Puerto Rico to avoid prosecution for this offense.

Mr. Torres is described as a white Hispanic male, 5'6, 130 pounds, brown hair, brown eyes. Anyone with information about the whereabouts of Mr. Torres are asked to call Sergeant Nichols with the Alexandria Police Department's Criminal Investigations Section, 703-838-4711.

The Alexandria Police Department is seeking information regarding the whereabouts of  Cesar Vargas Palencia, a 42-year-old former Alexandria resident. Mr. Vargas Palencia is wanted for Malicious Wounding for stabbing his former girlfriend in 2004.

Mr. Vargas Palencia is described as white Hispanic male, 5'8, 160 - 180 pounds, brown hair and brown eyes. Anyone with information about the whereabouts of Mr. Vargas Palencia are asked to call Detective Ignacio with the Alexandria Police Department's Criminal Investigations Section, 703-838-4711.

The Alexandria Police Department is seeking information regarding the whereabouts of  Carlos Fuentes, a 28-year-old former Alexandria resident. Mr. Fuentes is wanted for the statutory rape of a 14-year-old girl in 2002.

Mr. Fuentes is described as a white Hispanic male, 5'6, 155 pounds, brown hair, brown eyes. He is originally from Mexico and may have fled there to avoid prosecution in this case.
