Parker-Gray District BAR Members

The Parker-Gray District Board is composed of seven members who are residents of the City of Alexandria.  The Historic District Ordinance requires that at least two of the Board's members be architects.  Members of the Board are appointed by City Council for three year terms with a maximum of 10 consecutive years.

William Conkey, Chairman.  Mr. Conkey was appointed to the BAR in 2008 and is an architect by profession.

Robert Duffy, Vice Chairman. Mr. Duffy was appointed to the BAR in 2010 and is an urban planner by profession.   9/8/2012
Theresa del Ninno was appointed to the BAR in 2011 and is an architect by profession.   5/10/2014
Purvi Irwin was newly appointed to the BAR in 2012 and is a preservation architect by profession.   6/30/2015
Brendan Owens was newly appointed to the BAR in 2012 and is a green building specialist.   6/30/2015
Philip Moffat was appointed to the BAR in 2006 and is an attorney by profession.   6/22/2013
Matthew Slowick was appointed to the BAR in 2011 and is an attorney by profession   9/13/2014
     

**Upon completion of the current appointment , this Board member will have reached their term limit.
