FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: August 21, 2008 Park and Recreation Commission to Hold Public Hearing on The Park and Recreation Commission will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, September 10, to discuss plans and ideas for the proposed renovation of the Patrick Henry Recreation Center. The meeting will be held at 7 p.m. at the Patrick Henry Recreation Center, 4643 Taney Ave. A regular meeting of the Park and Recreation Commission will follow the public hearing.
Following the public hearing on the Patrick Henry Recreation Center, the Commission will hear comments from residents on any park and recreation-related issue. As part of its ongoing effort to offer additional opportunities for residents to provide input on park and recreation issues, the Commission will continue to schedule future public hearings and regular monthly meetings at various locations throughout the City.
