DASH Bus Schedules Integrated with Google Maps

Alexandria Transit Company (DASH) is now the first local public transit system inside the Beltway to have its schedule integrated with Google Maps.  Baltimore's MTA, Fairfax CUE, Loudon County Transit, and Morgantown's Mountain Line Transit Authority are also available as well.

Trip planning has taken a whole new dimension.  Now, when trying to get from point A to point B, you have the option of getting directions for walking, driving and public transportation.

Google can tell you, for instance, where to walk to find the nearest bus stop, when the bus will arrive, where it will take you and how far to walk from there. And, it will also give you the next three available itineraries now or for any point in the future. In addition, Google mobile map application can also bring DASH transit information, as well as walking directions and StreetView, to your smart phone.
