The City of Alexandria reminds residents of the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority’s (WMATA) Metrobus route changes to 21A, 21B, 21C, 21D, and 21F. Woodrow Wilson Bridge Trail now open!
The new Woodrow Wilson Trail recently opened to bicyclists, runners, and walkers following a dedication ceremony on National Trails Day. The bridge trail provides a much-anticipated connection between the City of Alexandria and Prince George's County.
Alexandria named a Bicycle Friendly Community!
The League of American Bicyclists has awarded Alexandria a Bronze designation in its Bicycle Friendly Community program. The city has been improving its bicycle infrastructure and programs as part of its Spin City 2009 efforts.
