Imagine the disappointment of children waking up on Christmas morning with no presents to open. The Holiday Sharing Program is our vehicle to bring together those who need help, and those who can help.
To help, you can sponsor a low income family, senior/disabled citizen, or foster child with gifts of needed clothing, grocery store gift certificates and toys for the children. You will receive a modest Wish List to facilitate your shopping. Recipients are eligible to participate because they receive food stamps, Medicaid or other assistance through the Department of Human Services. You can also contribute gift cards for teenagers in foster care and grocery certificates for families and seniors.
Can you join the many organizations, faith groups, businesses, offices, and neighbors who support needy families, foster children, senior and disabled citizens at the holiday season? Read our Holiday Sharing Letter and "Guidelines for Givers" to learn more about how you can help.
Financial donations are also most welcome.
